Emilio Begali was born in Castel d'Azzano, in the province of Verona, on 14th October 1985.

In 2004 he graduated as a master chart, and since October 2005 he is attending a course of study in photography at the LABA of Brescia,in which he is completing the third and last academic year.

His passion for photographic art becomes, gradually, from a simple expression of curiosity to a genuine personal research about reality and ways to reveal it, even if he retains a sacral respect for its natural manifestation and for the pure emotions that born from its. 'The work has to live alone' is very important for him:  nobody can't crystallize it in schemas, it's basic to keep a large area of interaction between work and its viewer, nobody can't have the presumption to give interpretation's right implements.

It's fundamental help the viewer to find moviment to a personal emotional elaboration. The photograph of Emilio Begali becomes an instrument for the more intimate knowledge of themselves, but it used by persons how they want use it. The illusion to dominate it brings them where they can see the picture like a mirror of themselves. In each field this photographer, from portrait to advertising still life , from the book to reportage, will bring you in a new visual contact, through his 'palette of colors', in which are amalgamated historical sensitivity and technical testing. You will enter in the 'Gray World'. Gray because it is the result of the mixture of all hues, gray because it leaves the possibility to imagine the right tone for your personal world. This is his greatest ambition: to put himself to the service of the imagination, making it versatile and effective for everyone, but not forgetting the importance of subjectivity.
